F&C Investment Trust

Investment Calculator

Launched in 1868, F&C Investment Trust was the first of its kind. It was established with the purpose of ‘bringing stock market investing to those of moderate means’ and aimed to make investing accessible to everyday investors. One way was to introduce the first monthly savings scheme for an Investment Trust back in 1984.

The Trust has been working for investors for over 150 years. The calculator below lets you see how an investment made in recent times might have fared.

Please note this calculator is built by a third-party provider and is for illustrative purposes only. It is not a projection of what your investments will be worth. The value of investments and any income from them can go down as well as up and you may not get back the original amount invested. Past performance should not be seen as an indication of future performance. The performance figures are shown gross of fees.

This information is simulated past performance and it is not a reliable indicator of future performance. The results are calculated by applying an investment strategy or methodology to existing historical market data, on prior time periods. Simulated performance results do not reflect actual trading and have inherent limitations. The value of your investment is dependent on the supply and demand for the shares of the Investment Trust rather than its underlying assets. The value of your investment will not be the same as the value of the Investment Trust’s underlying assets.

Assumptions:

Fees and charges – The information presented is gross of any fees and charges, which would lower the returns shown. Fees and charges will vary depending on how shares are bought and held.

Tax – Tax has not been taken into account for the calculation.

Dividend reinvestment – The information assumes all dividend income is reinvested.
